We are excited to host the Australian Green Iron & Steel Forum on 26-27 March 2025, co-located with the 25th Annual Mineral Sands & Rare Earths Conference at the Pan Pacific Perth. This leading event will gather industry stakeholders focused on advancing the decarbonisation of Australia’s iron and steel sectors.
This event could not be timelier as the Albanese Labor Government launches a $1 billion Green Iron Investment Fund to establish Australia as a global leader in green iron manufacturing. With the fund expected support green iron projects, boost supply chains, and attract private investment, the fund will capitalise on Australia’s position as the world’s largest iron ore producer as the world shifts toward low-emission steel production.
Join iron ore executives, project directors, analysts, fund managers, engineering firms, and industry suppliers in a collaborative setting to explore the latest developments regarding Australia’s top export.
“Labor’s plan for a Future Made in Australia is very clear: we want Australia to make more things here.
“That’s why my Government is delivering $1 billion for our Green Iron Investment Fund.
“We’ve got the resources, the workers, and the know-how – the only thing we don’t have is time to waste.
“This investment is good for Australian workers and good for Australian business.”
